eyeliner

If you’re looking for a way to enhance the appearance of your eyes, semi-permanent eyeliner might be just what you need. This popular cosmetic procedure involves tattooing the eyelids with pigment to create a natural-looking line that lasts for up to three years. Unlike traditional makeup, semi-permanent eyeliner saves you time and effort in your daily routine, and can even be a great option for those with allergies or sensitivities to traditional makeup.

At our beauty studio, we use a delicate and precise technique to create a subtle yet noticeable enhancement to your eyes. Before the procedure, our artists will consult with you to discuss your desired look and determine the best technique and pigment color to use. We understand that every client is unique, and we strive to provide a customized experience that meets your individual needs.

During the procedure, our artists will use a small, handheld device that contains a fine needle to deposit the pigment into the skin along your lash line. We take great care to ensure that the eyeliner looks natural and enhances your features. To minimize any discomfort, we apply a numbing cream to your eyelids before beginning the process.

The entire process typically takes between 2-3 hours to complete, depending on the complexity of the design and the experience of the artist. After the procedure, you may experience some swelling and redness around your eyes, but our team will provide you with aftercare instructions to ensure that your eyeliner heals properly. This may include avoiding water and makeup around your eyes for a few days after the procedure.

At our beauty studio, we are committed to providing you with a safe and effective cosmetic procedure that enhances your natural beauty. Our semi-permanent eyeliner typically lasts between 1-3 years, depending on your skin type and the intensity of the pigment. Over time, the pigment will gradually fade and may need to be touched up to maintain the desired look.

THINGS TO KNOW
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

PREPARATION BEFORE YOUR PROCEDURE:

Lash extensions

To ensure optimal results during your procedure, it is recommended that you remove your lash extensions at least one to two days before – ideally a week before – to allow for the dissipation of lash extension glue. Even small traces of the adhesive can hinder the application of ink. After your tattoo has healed, you may reapply your lash extensions.

Natural blood thinners

It is advisable to discontinue the use of aspirin, fish oil, and other natural blood thinners at least three days prior to your procedure. If you are taking prescription blood thinners, it is recommended to seek advice from your doctor.

Contact lenses

Prior to your procedure, it is important to remove your contact lenses. After the procedure, refrain from wearing them until any tenderness or redness has subsided.

Consult a doctor

Before your procedure, it is recommended to seek advice from a doctor if you are currently taking any prescription medications.

Does Eyeliner tattoo hurt?

To minimize any discomfort during your eye tattoo procedure, a numbing cream is applied to the area beforehand. Although most clients experience little to no pain, individuals with sensitivity or a lower pain threshold may find the procedure mildly uncomfortable.

Healing: What to Expect

Following an eyeliner procedure, there is typically no downtime. However, it is important to take some precautions during the healing process which usually lasts for 7-10 days.

These include avoiding mascara which contains bacteria and may increase the risk of infection before the skin has fully healed.

It is also important to refrain from rubbing or touching your eyes to minimize the spread of germs and bacteria.

Additionally, it is recommended to avoid swimming pools, saunas, and heavy exercise during this time.
